It is a rather small thermometer, less than 5 by 5 centimeters. It can be simply attached to the wall with the supplied double-sided adhesive tape, and it will display the current temperature and humidity, as well as a “smiley face” signaling whether the current conditions are comfortable:

But if you connect it to the Mi Home app on your smartphone, it becomes a real weather station, despite its compact size. The thermometer connects via Bluetooth, and the Mi Home app can connect to it directly to the smartphone, but then its measurements will only be available to you when you're nearby.

Much more possibilities will appear if you connect this thermometer to a compatible smart home control center, such as Xiaomi Gateway 3Xiaomi Gateway 3. In this case, you will be able to monitor the temperature and humidity in the room remotely, and in addition, your Smart Home can automatically perform some actions. The thermometer is powered by a CR2032 battery, which lasts approximately one year.
