Xiaomi Wireless Smart Electric Digital Hygrometer Thermometer 2

It is a rather small thermometer, less than 5 by 5 centimeters. It can be simply attached to the wall with the supplied double-sided adhesive tape, and it will display the current temperature and humidity, as well as a “smiley face” signaling whether the current conditions are comfortable:

But if you connect it to the Mi Home app on your smartphone, it becomes a real weather station, despite its compact size. The thermometer connects via Bluetooth, and the Mi Home app can connect to it directly to the smartphone, but then its measurements will only be available to you when you're nearby.

Much more possibilities will appear if you connect this thermometer to a compatible smart home control center, such as Xiaomi Gateway 3. In this case, you will be able to monitor the temperature and humidity in the room remotely, and in addition, your Smart Home can automatically perform some actions. For example, turn on the air conditioner if the air is too hot, or turn on the humidifier if the air is dry, or on the contrary, turn on the heater.

The thermometer is powered by a CR2032 battery, which lasts approximately one year.

In the Mi Home app, you'll see not only the current temperature, humidity and approximate battery level of the thermometer, but also a graph of temperature and humidity changes over the last 24 hours:

By clicking on the “View more” button, you can see how the temperature has changed over a month, or even a whole year:

Also, you will see the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values for the selected range.
