Overview

The Mijia Smart Monitor Light Bar 1S (MJGJD02YL) is a monitor-mounted LED task light designed to illuminate the desk area without taking up desktop space. Its magnetic light body attaches to a weighted monitor base and can be angled by about ±25°. The mount is intended for monitors up to 32 mm thick and is not designed for laptops.

Lighting and controls

Brightness and color temperature can be adjusted with the included wireless knob remote. A short press switches the light on or off, rotating the knob changes brightness, and pressing while rotating changes color temperature. The light covers a 2700–6500 K range, has a Ra95 color rendering index at 3900 K, and is rated for 300 lm luminous flux at 3900 K.
The light bar is rated at 5 W with a 5 V ⎓ 2 A input and uses a USB Type-C power connection. The remote control uses two AAA batteries.

Mi Home smart features

This 1S model can be added to the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home ecosystem for app control and smart-home linkage. The app can be used for lighting settings and scene functions, while Xiao Ai voice control is also supported by the product documentation.
MJGJD02YL is a China-market model. To add it in Mi Home, set the app region to Chinese mainland. Availability and behavior can therefore differ from globally distributed Xiaomi Home devices.

Installation notes

Place the base at the top center of a compatible monitor, attach the light body to the base, and connect power through the Type-C port. A 5 V supply capable of at least 2 A is recommended for reliable operation. The product is intended for indoor use.
