The Xiaomi Smart Home Hub 2 (ZNDMWG04LM) is a multi-protocol gateway for Xiaomi Home. It brings Zigbee, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Mesh accessories into one smart-home system and can connect to the home network over either dual-band Wi‑Fi or wired Ethernet.

The hub supports Wi‑Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, Zigbee 3.0, and Bluetooth 5.0. A 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port provides a wired alternative when a stable network connection is preferred. Xiaomi states that the hub can manage compatible child devices and keep supported local automations running even if the external network is temporarily unavailable.

Setup is performed in the Xiaomi Home app: power the hub, connect it to the network, then add the hub and compatible child devices in the app. The exact set of supported devices can depend on product region and firmware.

Model ZNDMWG04LM measures 95 × 95 × 26 mm and is powered from 5 V DC at 1 A through USB Type‑C. Xiaomi lists a 1 GHz dual-core CPU and 128 MB memory. The specified operating range is -10°C to 50°C and 0–95% RH without condensation.

This global model should not be mixed with the separate China-market DMWG03LM variant. The previous description listed both variants together, which is useful background but unsuitable as the canonical specification set for ZNDMWG04LM.
