Qingping M version environment monitor

Qingping Temp & RH Monitor M is a compact indoor environmental monitor that shows temperature and relative humidity on an e-ink display. It is designed for low-power, always-visible room monitoring rather than broad air-quality sensing; the exact M version is identified by Qingping as model CGG1 and communicates over Bluetooth.

The M version supports Mi Home. Direct readings are available locally on the display, while remote access, history and Mi Home automations require a compatible Mi Home Bluetooth gateway. Qingping’s current product documentation lists support for Mi Home servers in mainland China, the EU and the UK, so the appropriate server region and a Bluetooth gateway are important setup considerations.

The monitor can be used as an automation input for climate-related routines—for example, triggering a heater, air conditioner or humidifier through other Mi Home devices when temperature or humidity crosses a chosen threshold.

This product measures temperature and humidity; the marketplace title also uses broader “environment monitor” wording, but no reliable exact-model evidence here supports publishing air-pressure or other pollutant measurements for the M version.

For a Mi Home installation, pair the monitor in the same supported server region as the Bluetooth gateway and keep the gateway within Bluetooth range. The screen still provides local readings without remote access, so a gateway is only necessary when the goal is history, remote viewing or automation. This distinction is useful when comparing the M version with Qingping variants aimed at Apple Home or Qingping’s own apps.
